1. General refund principles
Zolaymi sells remote technical services, not physical goods. Refund outcomes depend on customer type, statutory rights, whether work has started, whether the service has been completed, the agreed scope, third-party fees and whether Zolaymi materially failed to deliver the agreed service.
This policy does not use "all sales are final." Mandatory consumer rights always remain unaffected.
2. Likely outcomes summary
| Situation | Likely outcome | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cancellation before work begins | May be refundable, less disclosed non-refundable costs. | Business customers may be charged reasonable administrative, planning, reserved-capacity or third-party costs. |
| Cancellation after work begins | Customer pays for work performed and committed expenses. | Consumers with immediate-performance consent may be charged proportionately. |
| Completed and accepted service | Generally non-refundable. | Does not remove statutory rights or remedies for material failure. |
| Zolaymi materially failed to deliver agreed scope | Correction, re-performance, partial refund or refund may be considered. | Zolaymi may first investigate and attempt correction. |
| Third-party licence or subscription | Depends on provider terms and applicable law. | Cancellation normally stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past periods. |
| Recurring Zolaymi service | Cancellation stops future renewals after written confirmation. | Past service periods are not automatically refunded. |
| Change of mind after non-cancellable work is completed | Generally not refundable. | Consumer statutory rights are preserved. |
3. EU/EEA and UK consumer cancellation rights
A qualifying Consumer in the EU/EEA or UK may have 14 days from contract formation to cancel a service contract without giving a reason. Before work starts during that period, the Consumer must expressly request immediate performance.
The checkout should include a separate, unticked checkbox with this wording: "I expressly request that Zolaymi LLC begin providing the service before the end of any applicable statutory cancellation period. I understand that I may be charged proportionately for work performed before cancellation and that I may lose my cancellation right once the service has been fully performed."
If the Consumer cancels after work has begun following that request, the Consumer may be charged a proportionate amount for work already performed. Once the service has been fully performed, the withdrawal right may end where the Consumer expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged that full performance would remove that right. Mandatory national rights remain unaffected.
4. Model cancellation form

5. Business-customer cancellation
Cancellation before work begins may be approved. Reasonable administrative, planning, reserved-capacity, third-party or non-refundable costs may be deducted. Deposits may be retained only to the extent stated in the quotation and legally permitted.
Cancellation after work begins requires payment for work completed, time reserved where contractually agreed, third-party costs and committed expenses. Any remaining refundable balance should be calculated transparently.
6. Fixed-price services, custom projects and hourly work
For fixed-price services, the service page, Order or invoice defines what is included. Refunds are not owed for requests outside scope, unsupported systems not disclosed before purchase, client changes after delivery, third-party updates, failure to provide required cooperation, or results depending on customer traffic, advertising, sales or other external factors.
For custom quotations, cancellation and refund handling follows the accepted quotation, invoice, deposit terms and work performed. Hourly work is billed for time spent and approved expenses unless a different arrangement is agreed.
7. Completed, defective or incorrectly delivered services
Completed and accepted technical services are generally non-refundable. This does not remove statutory consumer rights. Refunds or corrective work may be available where Zolaymi materially failed to deliver the agreed service.
Zolaymi may first be given a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct the problem. Minor cosmetic preferences or requests outside the agreed scope do not constitute material failure.
8. Third-party fees, licences and subscriptions
Cancelling a third-party subscription normally stops future renewals. Cancellation does not automatically refund previous payments or the current billing period. Refund eligibility depends on the third-party provider's terms and applicable law.
One-time licence, setup, registration, domain, hosting, messaging, platform, API or usage costs may be non-refundable once incurred. Zolaymi must disclose known third-party charges before they are incurred where reasonably possible.
9. Recurring Zolaymi services
There is no minimum commitment unless stated otherwise. Customers may cancel by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation requests should be received at least seven calendar days before the next renewal. Cancellation received after that deadline may take effect at the following renewal where legally permitted.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Past service periods are not automatically refunded. Mandatory consumer cancellation rights remain unaffected. Zolaymi must confirm cancellation in writing. Access to recurring services may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless immediate termination is requested or required.
10. Approved refunds and chargebacks
Approved refunds are initiated within two to three business days. Banks, card networks, Stripe and PayPal may require additional time to return funds. Currency-conversion differences and third-party fees may be outside Zolaymi's control. Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method.
Customers should contact [email protected] before initiating a chargeback where reasonably possible. Zolaymi may provide payment processors with contracts, communications, access logs, delivery records, testing evidence, reports and other relevant documentation. Filing a chargeback does not automatically cancel contractual obligations. Fraudulent, knowingly false or abusive chargebacks may result in service suspension or termination. Zolaymi may recover reasonable costs caused by an abusive chargeback where legally permitted. Nothing prevents a Consumer from exercising legitimate statutory, card-network, bank or payment-provider rights.
